The Eagle's Nest steakhouse made its mark in Langkawi in 1995. The chef and owner, Joe Liew has perfected his trade at top restaurants during his 15-year stint in Germany. The result, flavours and tastes are unique to The Eagle's Nest, since the dishes that we offer are our chef's own creation. All our sauces and dressings are in-house made and balanced with herbs to complement the meat, which is NOT marinated.

The Eagle's Nest Langkawi had been in operation for ten years without any paid advertisements. The advertising has been done by our regular customers through word of mouth. Other satisfied customers have gone out of their way to advertise the food. The steakhouse has been featured in WINE AND DINE, highly recommended in LONELY PLANET as well as in all the major Japanese Guidebooks including the most popular RURUBU published by JTB (Japanese Travel Bureau).

We use top quality beef imported from New Zealand and Australia. Our salads are hand-picked by our chef in order to provide our customers with the freshest of ingredients. Some of our specialties include the pepper sauce which is made of green peppercorns, red wine sauce that goes so well with beef tenderloin and prawns, our own version of Béarnaise Sauce, lemon-dill sauce for fish, tzatziki sauce to complement lamb. Our garlic bread is another example of the advantage of using our own recipes (garlic butter in this instance) as opposed to buying everything off the shelves. Even the mashed potatoes are made of fresh potatoes.
